Along stretches of green roads through suburban neighborhoods, I found myself at Pitt Street Pharmacy. It’s old-school charm dates back to 1938.
It’s easy to close my eyes and imagine my hair in a side-pony with a hoop skirt. And nothing goes better with a side pony than a cherry coke.
The decor is classic, you feel as if you are starring in Grease and a member of the T Birds would sweep you off your feet at any moment.
Their menu contains the bare essentials: grilled cheese, hot dogs and a variety of salad sandwiches. Milkshakes are a must.
